Accelerated Transient Response Technology
To move a woofer cone quickly enough to keep up with a bass rhythm, massive energy pulses (voltage and current) are required. Accelerated Transient Response, or ATR, is the ultimate goal for amplifier designers.
Behringer’s amplifiers respond quickly to even the most demanding bass impulses because they carefully choose transistors with exceptionally fast slew rates and optimize other proprietary components of their circuitry. Your audience will hear a tighter, clearer, more organic sound if your PA system’s woofers can keep up.
Useful Control Features
Every EUROPOWER EP2000 has a variety of choices on the rear panel to assist you maximize your amplifier’s performance. In order to prevent distortion, the integrated Clip Limiter temporarily lowers the input level when it detects that the amplifier is being driven into clipping.
Although theoretically inaudible, ultralow frequency noises, or infrasonics, can be a significant drain on power resources due to stage vibrations, microphone thumps, and wind noise. In order to improve sonic performance and provide the highest level of loudspeaker protection, the EP2000 has a defeatable Low-Cut Filter that filters out frequencies below 50 or 30 Hz, depending on the capabilities of your PA system.
