All The Inputs You Need And More
Two dynamic/condenser mics, two electric guitars, or one of each can be concurrently accommodated by the AIR 192|8, which has two XLR-1/4″ combo mic/line inputs and dedicated front-panel 1/4″ Hi-Z instrument inputs. It also has independent meters, -10 dB pads, and gain adjustments for each input. You can connect active speakers, headphones, and an external DJ mixer to the interface since it features assignable stereo RCA aux outs, mirrored stereo RCA and 1/4″ TRS monitor outputs, and a 1/4″ headphone output with its own level control and source selection. The built-in monitor mixer lets you listen in mono or stereo and dial in the perfect balance of zero-latency live input signal and low-latency computer playback, so you can effortlessly transition from tracking to overdubbing to mixing.
Studio-Quality Recording
Using a straightforward and user-friendly audio interface, the AIR 192|8 allows you to produce recordings with studio-quality 24-bit / 192 kHz sound. Featuring two dedicated XLR-1/4″ balanced combo mic/line inputs (+48V phantom power and -10 dB pads are switchable), the AIR 192|8 allows you to record up to two channels simultaneously. It also features two 1/4″ front-panel instrument inputs that have been specially designed with a gain and impedance stage to provide the most accurate representation of a guitar or bass plugged straight into the interface.
