Behringer B-1 Overview
The Behringer B-1 Condenser Microphone features a large diaphragm condenser design and can be used for project and professional studio applications. It offers a pressure gradient capsule that delivers a transparent 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response while handling an SPL rating of 138 dB (148 dB with pad), resulting in clean transparent audio at transient peak levels. The B-1 features a cardioid polar pattern, minimizing off-axis audio and noise caused by room ambiance and additional instruments. A -10 dB pad switch provides headroom when recording loud signals that can distort on input, and a low-frequency roll-off switch minimizes low-end noise at 75 Hz (6 dB / Octave). The Condenser microphone includes a shockmount, windscreen, and carrying case.

Cardioid Polar Pattern
The B-1 features a cardioid polar pattern, minimizing off-axis signal and noise caused by room ambiance, monitors, noise, and additional instruments.
High-Pass Filter Switch
A high-pass filter switch eliminates low frequencies at 75 Hz (6 dB / Octave). This is useful when ambient hum or line noise is prevalent.
-10 dB Pad Switch
The B-1 is capable of handling Sound Pressure Levels of up to 135 dB and a -10 dB pad switch allows for a total of 148 dB of headroom.
