The Neumann MT 48 is a desktop 12×12 reference USB-C audio/MIDI interface designed in collaboration with Merging Technologies for professional musicians, engineers, and producers. It guarantees flawless sound quality from input to output, allowing you to get the most out of your Neumann microphones, monitors, headphones, and other microphones. The MT 48’s high-precision AD converters produce an astounding dynamic range of 136 dB-A, four times the resolution of similar interfaces. This results in excellent clarity and detail when recording with professional microphones.

Interactive Experience

The Neumann MT 48 has a color Expressive touchscreen with a sharp resolution and an easy-to-use interface. All adjustments are done on the device itself, thus there’s no need to transfer between software and hardware anymore. Four distinct monitor mixes with integrated talkback are available on the integrated digital mixing console.

Top Of The Line Conversions

A fully parametric 4-band EQ, a 3-way dynamics processor (gate/compressor/limiter) per channel, and a premium reverb are all included in the onboard DSP enabling creative monitor mixes. The Neumann MT 48 has a special feature that allows you to record Pre-FX and Post-FX simultaneously. The interface can be expanded via ADAT / S/PDIF and AES67/RAVENNA to support larger installations. It can also function as a bridge from USB to AES67. Additionally embedded is a MIDI interface.

Standalone Yet Portable

The MT 48 real reference interface adds Neumann quality and Merging Technologies Swiss precision to the digital process, making it suitable for a variety of uses, including professional recording, location work, broadcast applications, and the classic bedroom studio. It is best paired with the KH-Line of studio monitors and is capable of recording the whole dynamic range of Neumann microphones. As a result, there are no bottlenecks in the signal chain and the sound quality is unaltered from the microphone diaphragm to your ear.
