The Allen & Heath SQ-6 is a 48-channel, 36-bus digital mixing console well suited for live sound, corporate A/V, recording studios, and houses of worship. The SQ-6 features 24+1 motorized faders and 24 professional-quality microphone preamps. There are also eight stereo FX engines with dedicated return channels and access to the RackExtra FX library. The mixer’s 12 stereo outputs (configurable as groups or auxes) are well suited for in-ear-monitor setups, while the Auto Mic Mixing function offers quick and easy operation over multiple microphones for conferences, panel talks, and more.

Each channel includes HPF, sidechain‑capable gate, 4‑band parametric EQ with RTA, and Peak/RMS compression for precise control over your sound.

Intuitive Touchscreen & Workflow

The SQ‑6 features a 7″ capacitive touchscreen with drag‑and‑drop layout, custom naming, and colour coding, supported by high‑grip encoders and assignable SoftKeys/Soft Rotaries for hands‑on control. This makes mixing faster and more intuitive, whether you’re on stage or in the studio.

Flexible Mixing & Routing

Create up to 12 stereo mixes plus LR and 3 stereo matrices, perfect for front‑of‑house, monitors, and in‑ear systems. The console also supports automatic mic mixing, ideal for conferences or panel events with multiple mics.

World‑Class FX & DEEP Processing

The SQ‑6 includes 8 stereo FX engines with dedicated returns and access to the acclaimed RackExtra FX library, offering reverbs, delays, and modulators. Optional DEEP processing adds boutique compressor and preamp emulations directly inside the mixer.

Recording, Streaming & USB Integration

Equipped with a 32×32 96 kHz USB audio interface, the SQ‑6 supports multitrack recording, playback, live streaming, and virtual soundcheck. The integrated SQ‑Drive enables direct USB recording and playback without a computer.

Expandable & Network‑Ready
