Samson C01 Overview

The Samson C01 Condenser Microphone is a studio microphone equipped with a dual-layer 19mm diaphragm, a hyper-cardioid polar pattern, and a gold-plated XLR connector. It can be used in recording applications to capture audio from vocalists or instruments.

high-SPL

The microphone features high-SPL handling like a dynamic microphone while retaining the clarity of a condenser. Its hypercardioid polar pattern maximizes off-axis signal rejection, focusing on sound directly in front of the microphone. The C01 is built with a blue LED for monitoring 48V phantom power, includes a swivel mount and carrying case, and is made of an all-metal housing and grille.

Off-Axis Sound Rejection

A cardioid polar pickup pattern focuses on capturing the sound source while minimizing background noise and feedback in live and studio recording applications.

Rugged Design

The C01 includes a heavy gauge mesh grille and gold-plated XLR connector. The microphone comes with a swivel mount that can be attached to any standard mic stand and is compatible with the SP01 Spider Shockmount (sold separately) for increased mic and sound stability.
