Expressive Playability
A newly engineered keybed codeveloped between Akai and Moog delivers a more natural feel and improved playability across its 25 velocity-sensitive synth-action mini keys. For expressive control, the MPK Mini IV replaces the thumbstick with dedicated pitch and modulation wheels, offering greater accuracy and hands-on performance. The RGB backlit MPC-style pads provide responsive beatmaking and triggering, now joined by dedicated transport controls for streamlined recording and playback.

A full-color display delivers real-time feedback, showing preset names, categories, and parameter values with one-to-one VST integration.
