Yamaha HS4 Overview
The Yamaha HS4 Studio Monitors are a more compact version of the well-respected HS series speakers. With two speakers and an active that powers both, these speakers have 2-way nearfield monitors that offer a wide and accurate frequency response. The HS4 monitors are ideal for applications like video editing and music creation since they are made to provide unwavering audio quality for creatives working in cramped spaces.
Made For Every Moment
A 26W amplifier powers the HS4’s 4.5″ cone woofer and 1″ dome tweeter. While volume control is provided on the front panel, the back panel incorporates 3-way room correction trim adjustments for boosting low frequencies and attenuating or boosting high frequencies, allowing you to easily tune your speakers for your particular acoustic situation. Balanced and unbalanced connection choices are offered by the XLR-1/4″ combination, stereo 3.5mm, and stereo RCA inputs. A front-panel 3.5mm headphone output is also provided, allowing you to rapidly switch between monitors and headphones for in-room recording or mixing reference. Eight antislip pads, a stereo 3.5mm to RCA connection, and a speaker cord are included with the HS4 studio monitors.
Optimal Sound Tailored to Your Environment
The surroundings might occasionally have an impact on the sound that speakers create. The HS4’s rear panels feature Room Control and High Trim features that let you tweak the sound to fit any setting. For example, you may lessen the extra low-end that sometimes arises from placing speakers close to walls in order to create the perfect sound.
I/O and Controls
Combination XLR-1/4″ TRS, RCA, and 3.5mm ports on the back panel of the HS4 enable you to connect to a variety of consumer and professional devices, including electric instruments, audio mixers, computers, and audio interfaces. For convenience, the most used features—the headphone jack, volume control, and power button—are positioned at the front.
