Its two Class-AB amplifiers provide 75W to the woven composite 6.5″ woofer and 65W to the silk dome 1.25″ tweeter, which provides a precise and fast transient response. With plenty of volume (103 dB SPL) and a frequency response ranging from 20 kHz to 35 Hz, the monitor provides full-range sound without the need for a subwoofer. Acoustic tuning options, such as a three-position Acoustic Space switch to help offset boundary bass increase that often happens when a monitor is positioned against a wall or in a corner, are located on the rear panel. Incorporating a subwoofer into your monitor setup is made simple by a low cutoff filter, and high and mid settings help to further reduce room anomalies.
