The PreSonus Eris E8 XT Kit offers two monitors for home studio engineers that provide efficiency, accuracy, and versatility at a wallet-friendly price. These two-way active monitors sport an EBM waveguide designed by famed engineer Hugh Sarvis, delivering a wider and more controlled sweet spot that is ideal for group listening and collaboration. Each E8 XT utilizes 140W Class-AB bi-amplification to power the 8″ woven composite woofer and 1.25″ ultralow-mass silk-dome high-frequency driver. These combine to deliver up to 105 dB of continuous SPL. You’ll find Balanced XLR, 1/4″, and unbalanced RCA inputs.

The familiar woven composite low-frequency driver still offers Eris’ signature tight, clear bass; plenty of punch and no flub. Eris E8 XT studio monitors sport a ported enclosure that is larger than that of their predecessors, allowing them to reach down to an astonishing 35 Hz. That’s 10 Hz below previous models—with no subwoofer required!
