Behringer NEKKST K10S Overview
The Behringer Nekkst K10S is a studio subwoofer that was created for critical listening conditions by Behringer audio engineers and loudspeaker master designer and KRK founder Keith R. Klawitter. For rich, deep, and precise bass, the active subwoofer’s 10″ fiberglass woofer is driven by a specially designed bridge-mode amplifier. Without the usual boundary coupling and port turbulence present in competing systems, the front-firing port of the K10S was engineered for exceptional low-frequency extension. When used in conjunction with the K8, K6, or K5 Studio Reference Monitors, the K10S is intended to offer a specialized studio-ready monitoring ecology.
Paying Homage to The Man Who Invented Studio Monitors
Keith Klawitter, the originator of KRK and a well-known acoustic legend, created the ultralinear reference-class NEKKST Series studio monitors and subwoofer. The NEKKST Series, which uses Keith’s Advanced Waveguide Technology for the best acoustic dispersion, creates a very wide sweet zone for the best studio monitoring available.
The K10S subwoofer’s potent 300-watt bridge-mode amplifier, 10″ glass-fiber woofer, and synergistic design enable you to vividly experience the bass content of your mix when you add it to your monitor system. In addition to satisfying seasoned producers and engineers, the NEKKST K10S enables both home and professional recording studio applications to achieve audiophile-level sound. When it comes to contemporary studio monitors, Keith Klawitter authored the book.
