Soundcraft EFX8 Overview
Expanding the Soundcraft low-cost, versatile small range, the Soundcraft EFX8 combines all the functions of the well-liked Soundcraft EPMTM mixer with an integrated 24-bit digital Lexicon® effects processor.
The AudioDNA® processor found in many Digitech® and Lexicon outboard products, notably the well-regarded Lexicon MX400 processor, is also used in the Soundcraft EFX8 Analog mixer. With more than 35 years of experience, the Lexicon brand is known for having the best reverb and processing available, guaranteeing the highest caliber effects that are uncommon in consoles at this price range.
Built-In Effects
The compact framework of the mixer, which comes in 8 or 12 mono input variations with 2 stereo channels and an effects send on each channel, perfectly accommodates the effects section. With three effects parameter controls, a tap tempo function, and a user effects setting save facility, there are 32 effects available for selection. The user has even more options thanks to a mute function and an effects channel level clip LED.
Keeping Budget In Mind
The Soundcraft EFX8 places a strong focus on audio performance and build quality, and it includes an intuitive control panel that is consistent with the Soundcraft professional range. The incredibly transparent GB30 Mic amp, which was created by Graham Blyth for the company’s 30th anniversary and is also utilized on the larger LX7ii and GB Series professional consoles, is employed by the Soundcraft EFX.
I/O Preferences
