Electro-Voice Everse 8 Overview

The Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 is a weatherized, battery-powered loudspeaker with Bluetooth audio and control, ideal for artists, traveling DJs, and rental properties. Rain or shine, the EVERSE 8 is ready to play thanks to its IP43 rating. The speaker weighs only 16.8 pounds and packs 400W of power into its compact design. The speaker’s 8″ woofer and 1″ titanium tweeter provide a maximum SPL of 121 dB and a frequency range of 65 Hz to 18 kHz (-3 dB).

Portable Connections

A 3.5mm aux input and two combo XLR-1/4″ inputs for line-level or microphone feeds are located on the back. Using your preferred portable device, you can stream audio via a Bluetooth receiver. To achieve the optimal sound quality from any location in the room, you may wirelessly access factory voicings, compression, EQ, and effects with a free Bluetooth app.

Battery Pack with Long Run Time

With maximum output levels, the EVERSE 8 battery pack can play music continuously for +6 hours or for more than 12 hours at an average of 95 dB SPL. When there is no signal, EVERSE 8’s built-in power-saving technologies help to prolong battery life. The Electro-Voice RE3 or R300 wireless microphone receivers can be powered via the 12 VDC port on the EVERSE 8 speaker.

An integrated 4-channel mixer with automatic feedback suppression, EQ, FX, and ducking features is a feature of the EVERSE 8. The mixer has two XLR-1/4″ combo jacks, input 1 (XLR) with 48V phantom power and input 2 (TRS) with Hi-Z compatibility.
