Hollyland Pyro S Overview
With Hollyland Pyro S 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System, you can incorporate 4K30 wireless video transmission into your production. Seven antennae, a USB-C converter, a DC power adapter, a wireless transmitter, a wireless receiver, and an adjustable shoe adapter mount are all part of the system. With its incredibly low 50 ms latency and HDMI and SDI inputs, the transmitter can transmit line-of-sight to the attached receiver up to 1300 feet distant. The system can reach up to 650 feet when in broadcast mode with up to four receivers and two mobile devices. The receiver has SDI and HDMI outputs.
Every Pyro S unit has a USB-C port that can charge the device and enable plug-and-play UVC functionality, allowing it to connect to a computer easily and use wireless video for conferencing and streaming purposes. It has a bright LCD for configuration and a built-in frequency scanner that lets you choose the clearest frequency for your transmission. Apart from the multipurpose USB-C connector, each device can be powered by an L-series battery with an optional battery plate or a lockable DC power converter that is sold separately.
Long Distance, High Quality
One transmitter may connect to four stable receivers with the Pyro S Wi-Fi broadcast technology, providing greater flexibility when new monitoring requirements arise on set. The transmitter’s line-of-sight range is 650′, and it can send signals to a maximum of four receivers when broadcast mode is engaged. The transmitter’s line-of-sight range is up to 1300′, and when broadcast mode is deactivated, it can send signals to a maximum of two receivers and two mobile devices.
Strong Signal Strength
The Pyro S has latency as low as 50ms and a steady transmission range of up to 1300′. The Pyro S performs better with longer transmission distances while maintaining video quality and lowering latency than the Mars series, which increases transmission range at the expense of image quality and latency. Additionally, the transmitter/receiver pair offers two modes that let users to adjust the trade-off between latency and image quality: Smooth mode allows for dynamic latency changes, while HD mode offers superior image quality with bitrates up to 12 Mb/s.
Crisp and Sharp Images
With up to 4K30 transmission capabilities via HDMI and 1080p60 via SDI, the Pyro S transmits images with superior clarity, detail, and realism, making it a great choice for professional applications like broadcast and filmmaking.
USB Video Class
UVC allows seamless compatibility with a wide range of devices, such as computers, without requiring additional drivers or software installations. This plug-and-play feature simplifies setup and operation, making it convenient for users in various scenarios, such as live streaming and video conferencing.
RTMP
Input your wireless key and connect a network card to stream video directly to live platforms like Zoom, YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
Smart Channel Scan
Upon startup, Pyro S automatically chooses a high-quality frequency channel, optimizing the user experience from the outset. Additionally, users can activate the smart channel scan function on the receiver to view real-time feedback on the frequency status, thus ensuring an uninterrupted and reliable experience.
Easy Setup
The Pyro S supports preset grouping and pairing, eliminating the need for users to repetitively and manually set up the transmitter and receivers.
Continuous Power, Multiple Options
In addition to DC input and NP-F batteries, the Pyro S also supports a USB-C power supply (5-12V). A USB power supply option provides convenience, especially when using stabilizers, as it eliminates the need for larger NP-F batteries, reducing overall weight and enhancing maneuverability.
