Saramonic MV-Mixer Overview
A convenient and affordable way to record audio to your Mac or Windows computer is with the Saramonic MV-Mixer, a 2-in / 2-out USB-C audio interface. It’s ideal for podcasters, streamers, producers, guitarists, singers, and other musicians who work from home or on the go. With the interface’s ability to handle resolutions up to 24-bit / 192 kHz, you can record and play back detailed, high-fidelity audio. The MV-Mixer can be used for a variety of tasks, including podcast recording in Pro Tools, adding voiceovers to video projects in Premiere, multitracking instruments in Logic Pro, live music performance, and everything in between.
Dual XLR Inputs
The MV-Mixer is compatible with the majority of XLR microphones (dynamic or condenser) and musical instruments, capturing mic- and line-level signals with clarity and natural tonality thanks to its two XLR-1/4″ combo inputs and selectable 48V phantom power. You can switch between accepting line-level and instrument-level signals using the 1/4″ inputs. When recording signals from various line-level sources such as mixers, keyboards, effect processors, or playback devices, select the Line input option. As an alternative, use the Instrument input for clean gain, which is perfect for directly reamping amplifiers or recording guitars and basses into the interface.
Easy Controls
Every input has a handy gain knob with an overload indicator to let you know if there might be any clipping. To adjust your monitoring levels, there are additional knobs for headphones and the large master output. Additionally, the headphone output has a selector button that makes it simple to switch between monitoring the mic/instrument input signals for latency-free tracking and the playback mix from your computer.
