Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB Overview
Based on the RDNA 3 architecture and designed to handle the graphical demands of 4K gaming as well as 1440p at high frame rates, the Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 7900 XTX Graphics Card provides an immersive gaming experience with your PC games. The GPU features 24GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 320-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous RDNA-based generation.
RDNA 3 Architecture
The AMD RDNA 3 architecture offers up to 54% more performance per watt than the AMD RDNA 2 architecture thanks to new compute units, an innovative chiplet design, and second-generation AMD Infinity Cache technology. In order to maximize the usage of each transistor and achieve quicker, more efficient performance than the previous generation, new compute units share resources among rendering, artificial intelligence, and raytracing.
Chiplet Design
This GPU now offers up to 15% higher speeds and up to 54% better power efficiency thanks to its chiplet design. The primary GPU capability is provided by the 5nm Graphics Compute Die (GCD), which has up to 96 compute units. Six of the 6nm Memory Cache Die (MCD), each having up to 16MB of AMD Infinity Cache technology from the second generation, are also included.
Dedicated AI Acceleration and 2nd-Generation Raytracing
AI instructions and increased AI throughput deliver up to 2.7 times more performance than the previous AMD RDNA 2 architecture, while 2nd-Gen raytracing technology delivers up to 1.8 times more performance than the previous generation.
DisplayPort 2.1 Support
This graphics card supports DisplayPort 2.1 technology with UHBR 13.5, offering up to 54 Gb/s of display link bandwidth and enabling high-refresh 4K (up to 480 Hz) or 8K (up to 165 Hz) gaming on next-gen displays.
AMD Radiance Display Engine
Provides 12 bit-per-channel color for up to 68 billion colors and higher refresh rate displays compared to AMD RDNA 2 architecture and includes support for DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1a.
High-Refresh Gaming
DisplayPort 2.1 provides increased display bandwidth compared to DisplayPort 1.4, with the ability to support up to 900 Hz, 480 Hz and 165 Hz refresh rates for 1440p, 4K, and 8K displays, respectively.
