Zoom EXH-8 Overview
The Zoom EXH-8 is a quad XLR input capsule that was released along with Zoom’s Capsule System 2.0 and is intended to be used with your Zoom H8 Handy recorder. The EXH-8 gives your H8 an additional four mic preamps, for a total of ten mic inputs, via its four locking XLR 3-pin inputs.
A sizable gain control and a -20 dB pad are available on each input for simple signal level adjustment. Connect the EXH-8 capsule to a power source to provide phantom power for your preferred condenser microphones. Zoom mic capsule connection on the capsule allows you to easily change capsules on your H8 recorder without the need for tools or time-consuming installation.
