RODE K2 Condenser Microphone Overview
The sonic quality of a Class-A tube microphone is delivered by Rode K2 Variable Pattern Dual 1.0″ Condenser Valve Microphone. The microphone is powered by a hand-picked 6922 twin-triode valve. The valve reproduces a flat, uncolored frequency response but adds warmth and detail. The Rode K2 has a 150 dB dynamic range. This guarantees transparent, distortion-free transient detection and precise, detailed detection of low signals. The user can access up to three polar patterns with an external power supply. Users can customize the contouring of each pattern as needed, with options for cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure eight patterns.
Class-A Valve Circuitry
The microphone is powered by a hand-picked 6922 twin-triode valve. The warmth and transparency characteristic of Class-A analog electronics are produced by the tube electronics.
Variable Polar Patterns
The polar patterns of the K2 are figure-eight, omni-directional, and cardioid. Because each pattern can be customized to fit a specific need, the patterns are user-variable.
Wide Dynamic Range
The microphone has a 150 dB dynamic range. This guarantees transparent, distortion-free transient signal pickup and precise, detailed pickup of low-level signals.
