PreSonus StudioLive 16R 18-Input, 16-Channel Series III Stage Box and Rack Mixer

A 16-channel, 1 RU, Series III stagebox and rack mixer, the PreSonus StudioLive 16R can be used as a stand-alone stage box, a rack mixer, or a stagebox and monitor mixer combo. With its AVB networking capabilities, the 16R may be linked to another Series III mixer with only a single lightweight Cat 5e or Cat 6 Ethernet cable, doing away with the need for bulky, costly copper snakes and the signal deterioration that comes with long cable runs. From the front-of-house location, all of the onboard XMAX microphone preamps can be remotely controlled. When in stage box + monitor mixer mode, the StudioLive 16R performs the functions of both a full-featured monitor mixer with sophisticated processing and mixing power, as well as a professional networked stage box.

The Best In Game

With its on-board Series III processors and third-generation Fat Channel, which uses a plug-in workflow and gives compression options on every channel, including passive EQs and classic tube limiters, the StudioLive 16R produces sound of professional caliber. The StudioLive 16R provides 6-band, fully parametric EQ on all mix outputs in addition to channel processing. While eight Filter DCAs provide simple and adaptable control over channel groups, six FlexMixes can be individually chosen as aux, subgroup, or matrix mixes.

PreSonus Metro, Live Remote Mixing

With its first-to-market solution for live remote mixing over the Internet with high-quality low-latency audio streaming, PreSonus Metro is the newest innovation for StudioLive Series III mixers. With Metro, anybody can use their local audio device to listen in real-time while remotely controlling a StudioLive Series III mixer using UC Surface and connecting to the mixer over the Internet from anywhere in the globe. Current users can download a free firmware upgrade featuring Metro from the PreSonus website.
