Novation Launchpad Pro MK3 Overview
A sophisticated MIDI controller and grid instrument, the Novation Launchpad Pro MK3 produces energetic, expressive musical performances. Although the Launchpad Pro was created for Ableton Live 10, it may be used with any DAW or hardware MIDI device. The improved RGB LED illuminated pads allow for fluid expression and inventiveness in production and performance. They are also pressure- and velocity-sensitive. By applying effects quickly and easily, navigating between mixer knobs, and switching between four essential modes—Session, Note, Device, and User—the layout aims to keep your attention on the performance.
Upgrade Over The Rest
The Session mode gives direct access to triggering clips, while the Note mode allows for the creation of dynamic beats and offers the ability to play the grid as an instrument with its chromatic keyboard display. The device mode provides access to any instrument or device parameters for easy real-time control and performance. The User mode is designed for custom performance layouts for software and hardware alike. There are dedicated buttons to control record arm, track select, mute, solo, volume, pan, sends, and stop clips. Additionally, there are dedicated function controls including click, undo, delete, quantize, duplicate, and double. One-click access to Ableton Live’s Capture MIDI function makes sure you never miss an idea.
Create The Best
With the four-track, eight-note polyphonic, 32-step standalone sequencer, you can keep your tracks growing. With Ableton Live, you can quickly print patterns to Clips and sequence virtual instruments. You may also use Launchpad Pro’s seamless integration to play patterns over MIDI by hooking up your preferred gear. Grooves are taken off-grid by micro steps. Play Order, Sync Rate, Mutate, and Probability allow you to alter your patterns dynamically. Songs can be constructed by chaining together patterns and assigning them to Scenes. Depending on how strongly a pad is played, the mixer can provide immediate changes or smooth transitions by providing velocity-sensitive control over all volume, pan, and effects sends.
