Behringer Truth B2030A Overview
The Behringer Truth B2030A is an active, two-way, 125W (peak) / 70W RMS monitor speaker with a wide sweet spot, balanced and unbalanced inputs, two independent amps for the 6.75″ polypropylene woofer and 1″ ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter, and adjustable settings to suit various monitoring environments. It was designed to be an accurate yet affordable reference solution for homes and project studios.
Bi-Amplification-The Path to Signal Integrity
With its 125 (peak) of clean output through separately powered drivers, courtesy of true bi-amping (2 amplifiers per speaker system), the B2030A delivers high-resolution sound that brings out the best in your music.
Instead of passive crossovers, which can inaccurately separate the frequency spectrum and degrade driver performance, Behringer uses an active crossover and dual amps—one driving the woofer and another driving the tweeter.
Custom-Engineered Transducers
Powerful amplifiers are a great beginning, but what about the part of the system you actually hear? Behringer’s LF (low-frequency) and HF (high-frequency) transducers are designed specifically for each application, helping to provide accurate results for your mixing endeavors.
The transducers have been carefully engineered to provide a flat frequency response from 50 Hz to 21 kHz, with a tight and accurate low end, articulately detailed mids, and clear highs.
